Last year, Neil Young announced a major Archives discovery titled "RUST BUCKET".
Every Friday, another song from the 3 set "RUST BUCKET" concert is being screened on NYA. Today's feature song is the "Love To Burn". "Love To Burn" clocks in at over 14 minutes+ as Neil and the Horse start to hit stride on the 3rd song in the 1st set. The complete concert setlist is 20 songs with a running in total of 3 hours. Last week, "Surfer Joe And Mo(e) The Sleaze" by Neil Young & Crazy Horse of 1990 Rehearsals played on Screen #2 | NYA (see RUST BUCKET PREMIERE NOW PLAYING: "Surfer Joe And Mo(e) The Sleaze " - Neil Young & Crazy Horse, 1990 Rehearsals | NYA). In April, "Country Home" by Neil Young & Crazy Horse of 1990 Rehearsals premiered on NYA.
The RUST BUCKET tapes have been called "the missing link between Ragged Glory and Weld".
As noted earlier, a complete multi-camera video (6 cameras?!) was discovered in the NYA vaults. Produced and Directed by the late LA Johnson, the Neil Young & Crazy Horse concert was filmed on November 11, 1990 at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, California. (See Sugar Mtn for more details). Consisting of 3 sets, plus encore, the video is titled WAY DOWN IN THE RUST BUCKET.
