  1. Cool photo. As I posted earlier today.....

The Roxy Tonight’s the Night is going to be a three sided LP of the best performances from the six night run. The Zappa Family Trust just released a 7 CD Set of every show of a three night, two shows a night box set of Frank’s Roxy performances with rehearsals, sound checks and some unreleased studio recordings. Yes that’s right folks..... 7 discs of complete shows. And all for under $60 dollars.

I’m wishing Neil would please just give us everything. Warts and all. I would pay any price for a box set like the Zappa set. Please Neil, I’m not getting any younger and I know you have it, so please release it all.

I can’t be the only one who would buy it.

    Peace.

  2. It's neil music now but when he leaves us someone eles down the line will release it all. Neil only see's what he feels i think. It's like beatle music it will all come out someday. We love that time when music was true. But our time to hear it all is not now. Neil doesn't see the big picture of how time will see all his recorded music been released. But he stored all this great music to sit in a shed? For now!!

  3. You’ll get what Neil wants you to have and you’ll like it. Choke on a peach.

  4. I'm sure most of those folks standing in line at the Roxy couldn't wait to hear "Heart Of Gold","Old Man", "Southern Man"...... boy, were they in for a surprise!

  5. I have been a Neil Young fan long enough to know that I will get what Neil wants me to get and I will receive it with joy. I was simply using a similar release from the same venue as an example of what could have been.

It will never be what I or anyone else wants, it is what it is. But I’m free to dream and that was my intention. As for now it’s too late for something more complete.

    Peace.

  6. I've been to over a dozen NY concerts in my lifetime. I either taped the whole thing or got them through friends and other fans. That's how i want to remember those concerts. I like the way NY does it. Best quality sound not full shows with less than stellar sound.

  7. To Dan's point, all six Roxy shows were taped by Neil's crew. I don't think the sound quality would suffer if he released the complete shows as opposed to a compilation.
