Steve Cropper: 1941 - 2025 ...  gone but not forgotten.

Here's a full concert video of Neil Young with Booker T. & the M.G.'s  Werchter Festival Park, Germany - 4 July, 1993.  Steve Cropper on guitar, Donald "Duck" Dunn on bass, Booker T. Jones on keyboards,  & Jim Keltner on drums. (Thanks YBAIS!)

Neil Young's tour in 1993 with Booker T. & the M.G.'s is considered -- in retrospect -- as yet another example of a great Neil Young backing band which brings out the best in Neil's talents.

  1. And then there’s the album Neil did with Booker T & the MG’s “Are You Passionate?” Which was underappreciated by many. No fault of Steve Cropper & the band.

I admit, Toast is a superior album. Too painful to release at that time! So we got AYP? Instead.

I personally liked AYP? more than most NY fans did. I felt like the band sounded really good on that album, and so did Neil.

Steve Cropper, Booker T & the MGs were a phenomenal band, and fit right in with NY on stage.

(Live to Ride) Dream Machine is an amazing song which I look forward to getting my hands on!
