As we noted last month, the Telluride, CO Council held a discussion around a Major Festival Event with Neil Young in Telluride Town Park between August 14, 2023 and August 20, 2023.

Unfortunately, the Telluride concert application was withdrawn by Neil Young's management/SBG Productions, Inc yesterday. (sadly, but thanks PML!)

In other news, per Neil's Instagram neilyoungarchives:

More on the subject of  Neil Young's concert planning @ "CONCERT TOURS are no longer fun" Says Neil Young | NYA.

Lastly, on a more positive and optimistic note, in a Message From Neil starting with  "Life is good", he says:
"I have a wonderful family and a great life. Music is a big part of it and I look forward to going back on the road someday soon."

  1. Since I live in Colorado, I was already plotting a way to Telluride. Not the easiest place to stay or even get to. Hopefully, a Red Rocks date may appear? There is a spot or two around that same time period. Keep up the good work! Regards, PML

  2. Sure hope Telluride is a swing and a miss for just one stop on the tour and not nixing the whole idea of a tour.

Wondering if all the venues that hosted Farm Aid could make up the tour with organic food provided just as in past years?

Sure hope as NYA members will be able to get tickets for any tour directly from them since the tickets will most likely follow the pattern of huge secondary market fees. Tickets for NYA members could result in a lot of new blood in terms of NYA membership this year.
