  3. Any rumours of any Canadian shows yet? Neil seems to like winter shows in Canada. But Massey Hall is closed for renovations but surely there are other options

  5. @ Senor Keksalot - good to hear things worked out.

@ Chris - well, it looks like the NYA folks are being pretty clever here. Hints won't work. You need to be a subscriber. A unique code for each subscriber is generated.

Maybe Neil has finally cracked the scalper scumbag mob? If so, good on him.

  9. NYA archivist was super helpful and responsive yesterday when I emailed saying code wasn't working - I got an email back saying hang tight they were having some tech troubles and then a second email saying 'they're up - go get 'em.' I got excellent tickets for two shows in MSP. LOVE NYA and what Neil is doing for his fans with tickets. It will be a cold, long weekend vacay in the twin cities - but at least a direct flight away ;)

  10. This pains me to say - Neil will be doing 3 shows this January in Minneapolis and I could be from my home to any of the three different venues by bus in 20 minutes. And I have zero interest. None. I never missed a time when he came here before. But I cannot connect with his new stuff and to frank, it's getting hard to hear him do his older stuff. The last time I saw Dylan, I took my two oldest boys and I was embarrasses by the performance. I love Neil, God bless him and thank you for being a part of my life. But I just cannot get excited anymore.

  11. @ Dan1 - good deal. Hope you get as good a set as wee got in Chicago this summer.

@ John - the fun never stops. thanks and updated.

    @ Amanda - see above

@ Tamara in Montana - good to hear customer service still exists.

Great seeing you in Chicago this summer as well. Make sure John wears his STFU shirt. :) You guys should be able to handle MPLS in january, right?!

@ Old Black - yeah, that's pretty sad.

As always do as you please. Probably your last shot for a 3 night run nearby.

Anyhow. We'll just say that after the 2nd Tower show, speaking to folks around us after the show, most folks agreed they got their money's worth after the 1st 2 songs - LTTT and Thrasher. If Neil had walked off the stage we still would have gone home happy.

we hope we never lose our ability to be excited...

    peace

  12. The opening years of Grand Solar Minimum (G.S.M.) are often the toughest and I'm sitting here with snow as far as I can see in North Carolina five days after the storm. We got a whole years worth of snow in 36 hours and we might have a pattern setting up for weekends this month.

Didn't Al Gore say in his doc. that by 2013 snow would be just a memory and our grandchildren wouldn't know about snow?

Just shake my head with Neil booking a January 2018 tour like it is 1973 up there in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

If you live north of the 45th it is time to take a serious look at G.S.M. If you want to see "real" climate change with 15 degree swings look to the alternative media on the Younger Dryas period 12,820 years ago and how it relates to the huge hole in Greenland and possibly the 900 Carolina Bays. Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock have a very interesting "theory" to discern but there are lots of experts who have talked about this for decades and now it is here, right now, right before your eyes.

This winter is going to be incredible but odd, since it is predicted that the Pacific Northwest and Alaska might be a tad warm, compared to the rest of the United States. G.S.M. (according to tree rings and ice cores in Antarctica 'n Greenland), happens for about one hundred years every 420 years almost like clockwork. The gas giants Jupiter and Saturn pull the earth slightly out of orbit and the sun gets quiet with "zero" sunspots. Nothing "man-made" or "unique" about G.S.M. plus it has an effect on the other planets, too, which NASA has reported on in dribbles for decades.

Cosmic rays increase during G.S.M. since the earth sort of lets it's guard down since the sun isn't doing anything and now they are monitoring that in airplanes.

    https://spaceweatherarchive.com/2018/06/15/what-is-e-rad/

Serious stuff...climate change is coming and humans need to clean-up their act because we are going to rely on the streams, rivers, lakes and oceans much more for food with the planting season getting so short. You'll know G.S.M. is really here when the Thames freezes and they have festivals on it again just like about 420 years ago.

Sea plankton increases with these cosmic rays so the increase in fish is astounding so watch for that soon in the alternative press. Sadly, the cosmic rays get the volcanoes going, too. They tried to make "winter is coming" a fictional joke and it seems to be working so far. It isn't the end of the world, by any means, but you will be inside a lot more dealing with family and friends so "integrity" goes way up for humans. Oddly enough, the shoreline may recede 200 feet revealing our lost history before 12,820 years ago.

  15. So do I understand this correctly where I can’t pay to be a NYA member and then have access to presale tickets to the Mpls shows?

Then does anyone know when general pin sale is? (Hoping go buy tix as Christmas presents)
