2017 Tour Plans for Neil Young + POTR Begin To Take Shape


It has been confirmed that Neil Young + Promise of the Real have been added to Australia's 2017 Bluesfest line-up. Organizers state that Young is booked to play a three-hour set at the Byron Bay festival.

Additional tour dates are TBD with possibilties in New Zealand, Japan, and elsewhere.

  1. Latest news ... will be a full tour in Australia & NZ in 2017. Young will perform headline dates in both countries, including indoor arenas and special outdoor shows. He’ll be joined on stage by Promise of the Real . Looks as though there will be an announcement on 12 October on those additional dates by promoter Frontier Touring . I did 4 of the NY & CH shows last he time he was down here. Time to plan another week or two off work.

  6. Dunedin please!!! the stadium here rocks and we just missed out on Springsteen!! please come Neil- you could go on the Tairei Gorge rail ride- it is stunning!!!

  7. I rung frontier touring a week ago for an update on the announcement and they were still working on negotiations so hopefully they sort it out ASAP. Can't wait to see Neil live!
