  1. The image of the sun coming over the meadow bed and the geese nesting waiting for their dreams is lovely. It's a beautiful and haunting melody but it makes me very sad after I listen to it. Maybe I still see the harvest moon and not ready for the snowmen to melt.

  2. Nice images MNOTR. thank you.

No, we don't the Harvest Moon to wax or the snowmen to melt.

Or the castles made of sand wash into the ocean either.

“To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
    And eternity in an hour.”
    – William Blake, ‘Auguries of Innocence’

  4. I love the image of a castle made of sand washing into the ocean.

Even children learn from the experience that it's not permanent but yet they put forth great effort to do it again and again in a way they think will withstand the forces of mother nature.

I think creating relationships in marriage and families are a lot like building castles in the sand. We know nothing is permanent in life so we give our greatest effort each day to begin again.

When the last parent on the planet decides it's not worth the effort only because it will just wash away into the ocean, then we know we're doomed as a humanity.

Lessons I learned "on the beach" with Neil and Pegi. Only the Divine Creator has the power to keep them both in the palm of his hand as they let their sand castle wash away forever into the ocean.

  5. "Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye"

"I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm,
your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm,
yes, many loved before us, I know that we are not new,
in city and in forest they smiled like me and you,
but now it's come to distances and both of us must try,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye.
I'm not looking for another as I wander in my time,
walk me to the corner, our steps will always rhyme
you know my love goes with you as your love stays with me,
it's just the way it changes, like the shoreline and the sea,
but let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't untie,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye.

I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm,
your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm,
yes many loved before us, I know that we are not new,
in city and in forest they smiled like me and you,
but let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't untie,
your eyes are soft with sorrow,
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye."

    my love
    Or someday you might find
    your soul endangered..."

  7. "He is both aboard
    Sea and on land saving
    The flies that die here
    Though especially himself
    Eternal war and peace nowhere
And it wont be pleasant to sacrifice yourself
    The days are long..."
