The Everly Brothers Cover of Neil Young's "Mr. Soul": 1968

With the recent passing of Phil Everly, there's been a bit of a resurgence in interest in the music of The Everly Brothers.

So in the interest of resurgence, re-discovery and resurrection, here's a cover of Neil Young's "Mr. Soul".

Produced By Jack Nitzche in 1968.

Enjoy and dream, dream, dream!

  3. Anybody know what lp this appeared on? It's not on their 1968 record Roots. Nice trippy version. The background singers remind me of those on Neil's solo debut.

  4. Oh yes, great track. Wealthy folk can find it
on the Evs' Bear Family Box Set. Those less loaded
can find it on "Hard Workin' Man: The Jack Nitzsche
Story, Vol 2", a CD put together for Ace
Records . Find more info and a full
