The Everly Brothers Cover of Neil Young's "Mr. Soul": 1968
With the recent passing of Phil Everly, there's been a bit of a resurgence in interest in the music of The Everly Brothers.
So in the interest of resurgence, re-discovery and resurrection, here's a cover of Neil Young's "Mr. Soul".
Produced By Jack Nitzche in 1968.
Enjoy and dream, dream, dream!

Reminds me of the recent NY at Carnegie Hall version
ReplyDeleteLaquelle était géniale par ailleurs.
ReplyDeleteAnybody know what lp this appeared on? It's not on their 1968 record Roots. Nice trippy version. The background singers remind me of those on Neil's solo debut.
