Stephen Stills has confirmed that CSN&Y will perform at this year's Bridge School Benefit Concerts, in an interview with
The Boston Globe by Sarah Rodman: (Thanks Mike S.!)
Q. What’s the current status of another CSN and maybe Y tour?

Stephen Stills: We’re doing the Bridge School Benefit with Neil at the end of October so I will see everybody then. But we were on the road for 18 months, me and David and Graham, so we’re having a little vacation.
While this is not a complete shock, it does come as a bit of a surprise.

There's a lot of indicators leading up to this. We've just had Stephen Stills w/ The Rides cover "Rockin' In The Free World" on their new album.

There are Graham Nash's pointed comments in his new book 'Wild Tales": Opens Up On Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

There is David Crosby raving about the upcoming CSNY 1974 Tour Box Set Release being prepared for the 40th anniversary.

And then there is Crazy Horse and the cancellation of Europe and N. American concert tour dates.

So quite a bit of convergence here.

Sort of deja vu all over again and again.

OK, going out on a limb here. If we all hope for a CSNY 40th anniversary tour, then it won't happen.

So, let's all hope for a Buffalo Springfield reunion and see what happens...

  1. CSN have an album ready and Singer Without a Song and Hole In The Sky semm to be good songs for the CSN harmonies. I'm ready for attending 2-3 dates, if it's the case.

    So Tired.

  3. If we are using history as a guide, we can reference ten years ago. CSNY played the 2003 BSB IN BETWEEN Crazy Horse (Greendale) tours. 2005 was a one-off CSNY BSB year as well (before LWW and the tour were conceived).
So this could be a changing of gears, or it could just be CSNY at Bridge and that's it.

  4. I am still bummed that the rest of the Alchemy tour was cancelled but hey, thats life....I'd happily go see a CSNY show.

Went to see World Party last night. They did a super sweet cover of "Out on the Weekend"

    Going back for seconds tonight:)

  6. Sounds to me like the muse has taken yet another turn. Has anyone heard how Neil will be playing Farm Aid? Solo acoustic?
