Keep on rockin', keep on blogging, keep on making your voice heard, just keep on. We're going to get there, maybe not here, maybe not now, maybe only in the "smaller" things about our lives and those we interact with, maybe only in what really counts- what's inside. We can't make anyone feel the same way we do about anything, be it the sense that we are losing our freedoms at lightning speed, be it the warm feeling of holding a door open for a stranger. Life marches on, through the illusion of "good" and "bad", all's anyone can do is make an effort or no, and it doesn't take much to appreciate it when it happens, e.g. Thrasher blogging in the face of attack because of what he feels as moral imperative, Neil putting out music because of what he feels "deep inside" of his soul, and the people on this site and elsewhere who respond in all the ways they can, even the shrill moments. Just keep on, do what you know is right, heck, slip up sometimes. Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep on. We are going to get there.
