As recently announced, Neil Young w/ Crazy Horse will headline during Weekend 2: @ New Orleans Jazz Fest 2024.
Per Neil Young Archives yesterday:
"As part of an upcoming tour, Neil Young and Crazy Horse will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz Festival on May 4th. NYA annual members will be able to purchase single day tickets for the concert on February 14th, two days before these tickets become Available to the public. Come back here to NYA on February 14th and follow the instructions to make your advance purchase."
Neil Young & Crazy Horse are booked for the second week of the festival from May 2nd to 5th. The exact performance dates have not yet been determined and will be announced at a later date.

Do we think a tour announcement will come prior to the presale for Jazz Fest?
ReplyDeleteBased on his note to come back on 2/14 for the presale, I read it as it is not likely that dates will be announced before then. I hope that I am wrong.
ReplyDeleteOn the flip side, he said that he would be announcing his tour soon on New Year’s Eve so I really don’t know, but I’m planning to be there once dates are known.
I imagine that it won’t be a long tour and could include Texas, Georgia, the Carolinas, Nashville, or Florida.
Would be surprised if goes north of Nashville in April/May.
Also hoping that maybe there will be 2 legs (8 - 12 shows each leg).
I’ll be curious to see if this ends up being similiar to the tour that he talked about doing with friends earlier in 2023 (going off of memory).
