ReplyDeleteOne thing I will say about the tracks I have heard on BARN is that you need to listen at high volume on a good stereo system. It's a very subtle recording which is odd for NYCH. There is basically no overdubbing and the vocals and playing is way more nuanced than you might expect. If you only listen through bluetooth headphones you simply won't get it. This is an example of an album where you need to hear it ALL to hear ANY of it. If you don't open it up wide and let the music breathe, it will totally sufficate.
