Maybe they should have a 43% proof 'Crazy Horse' black label bottle ....."did ya feel the Horse on that drop! smooth but also ruff....
ReplyDeleteMaybe not known in Australia: In the early nineties there was a bitter dispute between Anishinabe (Chippewa) in Wisconsin about their treaty rights to spear-fishing and white supremacists with links to the Aryan Nation who claimed a right to fishing without being disturbed by (n-word). As a campaign gimmick the racists sold "Crazy Horse beer" believing that to be funny. Being based in Munich (Bavaria) and a frequent host to Indigenous persons from North America (and Australia, too) I did not get around having a beer or two with curious visitors, but: these occasions have me sitting on the edge, being constantly alert, because you never know about the hard fought battles between these folks and the bottle.
ReplyDeleteIn the town where I live (Essen; Belgium) some local beer-lovers produced their own beer: Harvest Moon. Cheers. https://www.crowmountain.be/nl/bieren/
