  4. @Ken: Where have you found this information ? Or is it just one of the numerous teasing of NY on his Letters to Editors page (I think he has talked about around 15 albums under constrution :-) ?

  5. @ Phil & @ Ken - yes, good question on LAST DANCE. can't say we recall specifics on this effort.

well, between TTN video and ‘Mountaintop Sessions’, it's all a journey through the past... and present ... and future...

    it's all one ALCHEMY...

  6. Last Dance was last addressed in a letter to the editor dated Aug. 3. Neil's response:

"Last Dance keeps coming up. I think it will be an archives only release, not on a disc, but we are not 100% locked and mastering yet. Still time to change. Very soon now though."

Of course, he says everything is "coming soon." In responses to previous letters, he said much of the Last Dance material (such as Last Dance, Come Along and Say You Will, and Goodbye Christians on the Shore) will be included in Archives v.2, set 1, currently scheduled for sometime next year.

  7. @ Babbo - thanks on clarification.

btw, someone was asking what # NY album COLORADO will be? there's always a lot of contention when saying album #59 or whatever. are you counting live, studio, re-release etc

but someone surely keeps track of such things?!

  8. All I can say is that Neil, you were truly amazing in Kilkenny at Nowlan Park on July 14th, clearly still in love with the music. Whatever you decide to release is a gift to cherish. Eff the non believers and hate. Long may you run and create anew ...

  10. There seems to be a cluster of material in late 1972- early 1973. Last Dance, Tuscaloosa, Time Fades Away and Time Fades Away 2 all seem to be related. Right now it seems like Last Dance will be an Archives only release, Tuscaloosa or Time Fades Away 2 or a selection of tracks will be part of NYA, vl. 2, set 1, and Time Fades Away STILL won't be released as a freestanding CD.
