New Curated Playlist on Neil Young Archives by PARTICLE KID aka Micah Nelson
A new curated playlist by PARTICLE KID (aka Micah Nelson) has been uploaded on the Neil Young Archives.
You may recall that last month, Kurt Vile curated the very 1st Neil Young Archives Playlist with “Stumblin’ with Neil", which we found to be quite delightful.
In perusing Micah Nelson's listing titled "WE R NEIL-LIST", it's as eclectic as can be expected from a “general visionary weirdo” (hey, the Aspen Times said it first, NYA said it 2nd and TW is saying 3rd!) Seriously?! "ARC Compilation Composition" @ 34+ minutes?! And that's just the 2nd track to weed out the lightweight NON-NEIL-LIST's.
Thanks Micah! enjoy and turn it up.

Thank you for your participation, cooperation, and keep on rockin'!
Looks like he is into the "time travel" period, too. Wonder if Neil had some life readings from "readers" or if the stuff came up in dreams like happens to so many these days. Anyone know if there is more of that in the "Like An Inca," "Cortez" and "Inca Queen" vein which hasn't been released?
ReplyDeleteJim - yeah, Micah's eclectic list certainly reflects some inter-galactic tastes! :)
ReplyDeleteSome of Micah's quotes on playing with Neil are so surreal. We really love this one from Rebel Content Tour:
"Every night was like climbing a mountain," says Nelson. "You start down in the Shire, and by the end, you're in the crater of Mount Doom.
I learned so much from playing with Neil. It's like apprenticing with a Jedi master."
So let's just hope there's more in the vein coming? The ride from Shire to Crater is exquisite.
