Unlimited subscriptions to the Neil Young Archives will begin on Dec. 1 according to a new NYA Times-Contrarian posting.
Pricing will start at $19.95 per year (or $1.99 per month) for unlimited access to the Neil Young Archives.
Details of subscriptions access include:

- access to unreleased music

ReplyDeleteIs there a timeframe for Mobile? Will it be available Dec 1st? The ONLY reason I have not paid for subscription service yet is because the ONLY place I will use it is in the car. I have his library on vinyl and I don't need to stream Neil at home. Many other artists sure, but I've got pounds and pounds of wax of his, so... why? Feels like it would be a waste. Now that its 'archives' I will reevaluate my stance when I see all the material available. If it's mobile-ready on Dec 1st then I will subscribe. Hell, I would have 3 months ago.

ReplyDeleteNYA said on its evil Facebook page last week that the app will launch Nov. 30. My understanding is you'll be able to listen to the music on mobile but won't have all the timeline/file cabinet functionality of the main website.

Maybe the app is impossible as the NYA is designed.i don't how it can work. But I'm not an expert.
