  1. I just took this album out after a long time a couple of weeks ago. The Bluenotes album will always have a special place in my heart since this was when I first got into Neil Young and saw him play live in San Diego on this tour. What a great show. And I am still a Married Man. Respect my Happy Home.

  3. Yes, it seems to be officially confirmed that Neil is a "married man", once again. Neil and Daryl tied the knot on Saturday and are now happily married.

    And that's all we know.

No word on 1st dance song, but it probably wasn't the Bluenotes "Married Man".

  6. Previous (unconfirmed, though with fuzzy photo) Facebook report was that the ceremony took place on July 27 aboard the Ragland as the full moon rose:

  7. @ Julia - Crosby has apologized and pretty much walked back his comments. Is that what you're in agreement on?

    3. He only apologized because he needs the kind of cash that can only be generated by a CSNY tour.

  8. I find it sad that a hero of mine could leave his wife of 36 years and take up with a younger model and that his remarriage to the younger model should be the cause for congratulations or celebration.

Of course I do not know anything about the circumstances of the breakdown of the marriage; maybe Pegi has much to answer for too. Call me old fashioned but I think that families should try to stay together. And with the role model of D Trump going for the younger model/s that is not a path that I personally would have wanted Neil to go down.

BUT it is entirely a matter for him and Darryl. I am just expressing my opinion.

It does not mean that I do not love most of Neil's music and what he stands for. I think his best music was made while he was with Pegi and Ramada Inn speaks volumes about the struggles that all of us who are married or are in a long term relationship have to cope with.I am sad they were not able to win that battle together.

There will no doubt be a number of posts telling me to mind my own business and that they are happy for Neil. You are entitled to your opinions too.

I was just saying that I am with Crosby on this one.And he knows Neil and Pegi and probably Darryl too.

I do not know any of them - and am unlikely to do so ( especially after this post!)

  9. Hi Julie, That's one of the great things about America, we can all voice our opinion. This post isn't directed at you but rather the 'Unknown' poster who pointed out so many of America's flaws earlier this month > http://neilyoungnews.thrasherswheat.org/2018/08/neil-young-and-daryl-hannah-attend.html#comments

  10. Or, as my Dad taught us :

“The nice thing about America is we can disagree and still be friends...”
