  1. Beautiful city! Who knew Europe was so close? Caught The Weekend and Jethro Tull last night. Will try to get up close for Neil tonight.

  4. Exceptional night for me, as it was my first Neil gig (out of seven to date) with my son Thomas who’ll be 6 next week. A bit loud for the little one even with earplugs. And POTR doesn’t totally do it for me, though the guitar duelling on DBTR was absolutely epic. wish this could have been a solo gig, especially for my little guy. Long live Neil.

  5. Love the set list!!! With one nit pick please stop ending concerts with Roll Another Number and or Harvest Moon...For some reason both those songs are terrible as an encore and if I never hear RAN that would be ok....ok rant over,,lol,

  6. @ Paul Wallace, I'll take Roll Another Number and/or Harvest Moon every day of the week over Tumbleweed on a ukulele! Just my opinion of course...

  7. Roll Another Number does seem to be the main encore of choice these days. Harvest Moon is an interesting choice for an encore, a bit unusual in that slot.

Wouldn't mind seeing Farmer John make a comeback, especially with POTR, could be a lot of fun.

  8. Merci beaucoup Christian. Tres belle indeed. What a show last night, what a festival. First time seeing POTR and one my favourite Neil concert experiences. Up front with our French brothers and sisters, everyone was so into it and the band seemed to respond. Glad I got a chance to hear Like An Inca. And though I know we were all up for another rocking anthem for the encore, everyone slipped right into the Harvest Moon vibe, singing along... great new full band arrangement too.

  10. Merci beaucoup Syscrusher

So glad that you had a great festival. Sounds like lots of long jams in the setlist. Can we see you in this shot on NYA?

A very joyous note from Neil and a wonderful bounceback from the Detroit mini-debacle.

  12. If the vibe wasn't insane he may have actually remembered the first verse of Broken Arrow.

  13. I watched the Detroit concert on YouTube (it's there for now), amazingly weird show, you could tell Neil was pretty bummed.

The performance, however, was outstanding. The best solo Neil I've heard since the 2003 European Greendale solo shows. Broken Arrow on the piano was stunning, in spite of the lyric flub. Matter of fact, remember that collection of Neil piano songs that Thrasher has posted? I think this Broken Arrow should be added, pronto

  14. Home now, so I can check NYA. No Thrasher, I'm not in that picture. A little over to their left. Great shot though.
