It's all one band as rustie fans from around the world are planning trips to experience these unprecedented "raw, open rehearsal" sessions.

  1. Doh! I just pulled the trigger on 5/1 in Fresno on Wednesday night. Excited to go, but Bakersfield on a Saturday would have been way easier on the schedule. Well, happy that more people get to see these shows.

  3. I have a bad feeling this is Crazy Horse's last ride. Still hoping they can make it to the East coast before they are done. It's hard to believe it has been 15 years since my last show (9/13/03 in Atlantic City). If it has to be my last, it was a wonderful performance of them at their best.

  4. You are lucky in the states, hope they make it to Europe.

  5. I really want them to make it to Australia too!

  6. One unintended circumstance of the Big Divorce that has happened: warm-up gigs with The Horse now take place in Fresno and Bakersfield instead of Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay. Can't say that I'm too thrilled about this turn of events, but that's life.

Any chance Neil brings the boys up here to the Bay Area??? Pretty please???

  8. My guess is that this is a mini-promotion tour for the new "Live at the Roxy".In other Words the "Tonights the night" album performed live some 30 years later! What a threat if that's the case! Sitting in Europe and "kinda wonda" I hope there will be shot an official Live-DVD of the event.

  9. That would be over 40 years later....but you can’t have the Flyers without Ben Keith.

  12. Ha, I'll cut down on my whining. You got to understand though, I've actually walked home after a Neil Young show. A guy can get spoiled living that way!

  14. I'm with Dominic Here! You Should be ashamed arguing Wether your About too witness a re-performance of "Tonights the night""The :Change your mind"album or "Mirrorball 30th anniversery" W. Or without Eddie Vedder...your lucky a-holes just to See the Horse "One last time around"!

  15. Hey, living in Santa Cruz ain't easy, or cheap, trust me. I've been scrounging paycheck to paycheck for over 20 years, and I've had to skip Neil shows cuz I didn't have the funds. The increasingly higher rents are probably gonna drive me out of here.

But then again, I've also had a conversation with Neil once, also saw him and Pegi at a supermarket another time. So I got that going for me.....

  16. With Nils in the lineup, what are the chances of Vocoders & tunes from Trans album, aka Transformer Man? I thin it would be great.

  17. Richard Siciliano, I love what Neil's doing here - forcing fans to have skin in the game ... the combo of CH, tiny venues, great seats ... to me its a can't miss set-up ... as time ticks away this all gets more precious and urgent ... that's why I'm throwing caution to the wind and jumping on a plane
