Here is the poster for the film PARADOX directed by Daryl Hannah with Neil Young + Promise Of The Real and Willie Nelson.

Netflix.com will stream the film globally on 23 March, the same day as the release of the movie's soundtrack.

In a statement, Hannah said,
"Paradox sprung up spontaneously and unexpectedly, like a peculiar dandelion, popping up between the cracks in the pavement. We were fortunate to find this brief window of opportunity to share the love for the natural world, each other and for the precious seeds of creativity and life. We are all thrilled the film will premiere at SXSW and that Netflix will be sharing it with the world."

Come on NY fans enough is enough - maybe Crosby was right ? I've seen love make a fool of a man...... this could well be a marvelous film with a fine message BUT what has happened to Neil ?

  3. Neil Young and Daryl Hanna have as much right to live their lives as they choose just as much as anyone else. They don't need your permission or your judgement.

    Peace.

  4. Yes your'e right he's always done as he pleases, never thought he'd get tangled up in this pretentious twaddle - just like a peculiar dandelion

  5. Here's how Kathleen Edwards said something similar in her 2012 song "Empty Threat": In the city I once would never, I'm learning to say never, never, never, ever. 'Cause now I'm its favorite flower, I'm blooming through the concrete cracks of this condo tower."
All NY fans should check her out! (Regardless of what you think of DH).

  6. Is the soundtrack released on 3/23 or 4/20. I've seen both dates mentioned.

  8. I'm currently going through my collection purging those I no longer play to make room for those I do. 3 Kathleen Edwards CDs are amongst those going. She's OK but... Richie

  9. Hey friends,

I'm sure most here know who he is. Gary Burden has passed on. A key member of Neil's tight knit creative family.
Passed him at the bar at Massey Hall and immediately regretted not getting him to sign my program, which of course he designed.
Catch you next time I guess.

  10. So awesome how the boundaries are being pushed with art distribution. April 12 there's a world wide showing of Distant Sky that should be incredible. Saw Tanya and Kristin tonight at the new Boston City Winery and what an amazing show. Tanya's set with Dean brought me to tears a number of times, and Kristin played a set for the ages, with a one two combination of Cuckoo and her take on Banks of the Ohio that was unreal. She played a breathtaking and beautiful Your Ghost. Last time I heard that live was an in-store early 94, before there was any recording.

  11. @MrHenry

Love K and Throwing Muses!! Such a "giant" amount of unbelievable great music there. Been a listener of both and Tanya since middle late 80's when I saw Muses open for REM at the old Market Square Arena in Indiana!!
