Randy Bachman's Tribute to Neil Young @ 2017 Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame

Randy Bachman paid tribute to Neil Young at the 2017 Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada.

Randy tells some wonderful Winnipeg memories from those old folky days, as well as renditions of some familiar tunes. Just wonderful stories, including one about Neil's mom Rassy.

  3. I was at this show. Bachman's section was certainly not my favourite part of the evening. I found it kind of hamfisted and a bit hokey, in fact, although I appreciate that they go way back. It was great seeing Neil there, though. Before he got up to give his acceptance speech, he was sitting there in the audience, in the aisle seat maybe 7-8 rows back. I recognized his hat, and Darryl sitting next him. Bruce Cockburn (also being honoured that night) was sitting directly across the aisle. It was a great night.
