VIDEO: Buffalo Springfield Scene on Mannix TV Episode - 1967
As Neil Young’s 2017 self imposed sabbatical continues and (updated here), we continue our journey into the past of the TW Archives and other sources.
Here's a scene from the Mannix TV episode aired on October 28, 1967 with Buffalo Springfield.
The Mannix TV episode is titled "Warning: Live Blueberries" features Buffalo Springfield in a nightclub performing Stephen Stills song "Bluebird".
Definitely has that '60's feel with Sunset Strip's Whisky Go-Go vibe.
peace
Thanks Ken H. !

Has the world changed for the better or worse? Or a little of both?
ReplyDeleteIt would have been nice to have given the Springfield a copy of this live track without the dialogue.
ReplyDeleteNice!! Classic Springfield! Did I see A young Tom Skerrit in there somewhere?

Sounds like a pretty good description of politics, and in fact, life writ large.

Don't listen to me"
I would love to hear those songs without the voices on the show. Do the original tapes exist?
ReplyDeleteYes, they do. In stereo!
ReplyDeleteI was there to watch his scene when I was 9 years old. My father was the script supervisor on Mannix
ReplyDeleteThese may be the recordings from the episode?
