  2. HI MNOTR! Nice to see you drop by. It's been awhile and thanks for asking.

Oh, so many trunks of memories to spare on Bridge concerts.

Well, our 2011 memories are still fresh ... The Essence of Bridge School Benefit Concerts.

And of course, last year is very fresh ... Memories & Reflections on Our 2015 Bridge School Benefit Concerts Weekend.

Afterall, we know that Bridge is a life altering and transcendental experience.

But we've always b3een fond of Neil & Pegi welcoming us each day and saying goodnight.

But when it comes down to it, not much can beat The Triumphant Reunion of The Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam and Neil Young @ 2010 Bridge School Benefit Concerts

  3. Concert with Uncle John's Band, Uncle Bob, and Sister Tracy. (It would be the last time I saw Jerry Garcia live.) I cried when I heard, "Gates of Eden." I cannot imagine a world without Uncle Bob. I was pregnant at the time, too. So baby gets credit for being there.

I missed Bobby Z. in CA in October. I miss SF.

    Has Joni ever showed up?

  4. 2000 is hard to beat. Day 2 he opened with Flying on the Ground is Wrong, Now a Days Clancy Cant Even Sing, Mr Soul. That line up is my favorite so far. CSNY, DMB, Tom Petty + Heartbreakers, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Beck, Foo Fighters, Tegan & Sara. I tried to call Shoreline box office like Ive done before. They no longer take phone Calls. I wanted to confirm some tickets will be released day of shows to be purchased there. I now live 200 miles away. If anyone has a phone number pls post here. Thanks, Tim

  6. Saturday night, 2010........the mind blowing return of Buffalo Springfield........easily the best Bridge show of the 6 I've been to.

Wasn't sure what to expect, and they came out and blew everyone away. One of my favorite Neil experiences.

  7. Larry Katznelson has left a new comment on your post "Lineup Announced: 2016 30th Annual Bridge School B...":

can we bring food in? or do we need to purchase food at the venue? thanks

  8. @Larry, it's mostly concession food/beer/cocktails. They have a "Skybar" where everybody meets up. I throw a few snacks (couple of bagels, apples, oranges, figs, nuts, etc) for the munchies in my very small backpack-purse. Absolutely no coolers, picnic baskets, etc. like most venues these days.

  9. (Off-Topic)

Bob Dylan continues his lfe-long masterclass in how avoiding the media and stepping back into the shadows (even just for a few days, in this instance) provides more good publicity than appearing on TV every 5 minutes.

    Take note, Neil Young.

    Scotsman.

  10. (Off-topic directed to flyingscotsman's comment)

@Scotmans, I really don't think Dylan likes publicity. And honestly, he doesn't need it. He's said all he's gonna say. And if he has something to say, we'll know. Neil, on the other hand, has something to say right now about environmental stewardship and protected lands. Whether someone shows up to report on it is really up to the news desk editors. Neil is an enthusiastic student of life. Dylan is an apologetic teacher. Dylan is the greatest songwriter, artist, and balladeer of all time.
