  2. Wow! Neil's incredible new song is so urgent!

Up here in Canada some of us believe the First Nations should have the final word on development in our wilderness, their land.

  3. Which new song are we discussing here? I feel like I missed something. In any event, looks like a good lineup. I may have to check out the live stream.

  4. Go to youtube now and search Neil Young Indian Givers. Amazing.

Literally yesterday I heard about the situation in North Dakota for the first time, today I'm listening to Neil Young sing about it.

If you like this, I love the drums on this song,
    check out John Trudell.

Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne gave him a lot of
support around twenty years ago already.

    John Trudell.....John Trudell......John Trudell...............

  9. For those of you going, I encourage you to get there at the start so you can see and hear all of the performers. It's always great to see Neil, Willie, Dave and John do their full sets, but everyone who appears earlier on this year deserves your full attention as well. I wish I could be there with you, and will be checking all of the available performances on-line.

Here's my suggestion for a one time performance. Carlene, Margo and Sturgill should join together for a Carter Family tribute, maybe start with Keep On The Sunny Side, then Dixie Darling, Wildwood Flower, You Are My Flower, Gold Watch and Chain, and ending with I'm Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes. During that last song--which contains the DNA of many other great songs--Willie can come out and join them for Great Speckled Bird, New Prisoner's Song and Merle's Big City for the finale, ending with Ring of Fire. That would really be something!
