  1. Great version of Cortez, but I had to bail at around the twelve minute mark because of the constant, ceaseless, never ending chatter and talk, talk, talk in the crowd. What a shame.

They did Southern Man when they played in Boston Saturday night. Seems like people there were actually listening to the music, not just some nice background for their yakety yak. The local paper gave that show a rave review, especially that night's Neil cover. Here's a link:

  2. Thanks Mr H! Yeah, the chatter is annoying and probably wasn't wheat worthy.

But we did update post with Southern Man video. Less chatty, More thrashy. :)

  3. Hey T, thanks for adding that. I meant no criticism of TW, it's a great version of Cortez. Just wish some folks would talk when it's appropriate and listen when the time is right--which is always. Hope Summer is going well for you both and the Virginia/DC weather has some cool breezes for relief.

Two months until Bridge School shows! And it will be very nice to see more videos and TW feedback when the Fall and Desert shows get here. Sounds like many of our friends here are going. Wonder what 2017 will bring for Neil? Maybe he'll woodshed for six months, then come back and amaze us once again.
