  1. Willie was onstage for Are There Any More Real Cowboys and On the Road Again - 27-song regular set just finished with RITFW, waiting for word on encores.

  5. No Change Your Mind, but I also didn't bring any brisket. I'll gladly feed all the band in Austin next time they come to town. Franklin BBQ or anything else they want.

    What a show.

Mind. Blown. 15th time seeing Neil and by far the best. I can't even describe it! Wow.

  6. Also before I forget: Micah in a Roman gladiator helmet for hey hey my my. Also a joke about eating too much Italian food as an explanation for a buzzing cable. Love the humor he brings to the band.

  8. Speaking of injecting Neil with energy... At the end of Hey Hey My My, the band put their instruments down and circled up with Neil like a football huddle.. put their arms around each other's shoulders.. and jumped up and down in a circle for a minute or so. The fun they are having is so badass.

I'm so lucky to have been able to fly half way around the world for this last night. I'll never forget it. What a way to kick off a vacation!

  9. Terrific gig. The sound in Caracalla Bath Opera theatre (small venue of about 2,500 sits) was absolutely perfect. Surrounded by Old Roman Walls the guys gave their best. Never seen Neil so happy. The whole setlist was 'Highlights'but Winterlong, Words and RITFW were really special to me. p.s. more 'tourists' than Romans attending the gig.

  10. Great concert in Rome in a wonderful location in front of the ancient Roman imperial ruins. Concert started quiet, but soon exploded with the great Neil country rock songs and the rockers anthems. Neil in the greatest mood and so the hardcore fans. I wouldn't even have dreamed to experiment in my life Are There Any More Real Cowboys in Europe with The Old Willie.
I' m having big time in this tour.
    So Tired.

  11. @ Babbo B. - thanks for all of the updates, as always! Fell like jumping on a jet plane over to Europe right now! It's great to be alive.

@ RichieC. - yeah, POTR really is injecting Neil with more and more energy every day. We need to get this REAL stuff bottled up and distributed world wide.

@ Pabst - No brisket, no Change Your Mind.

Quite a feeling that mind blown experience, eh?!

@Roberto - cool that Nils made it show. We hear he was in town for the Bruce concert. Guess Bruce played a bigger venue.

@Pabst - wild stuff with Micah in a Roman gladiator helmet on HHMM. Just updated post.

The end of concert huddle really says it all. The band of brothers jumping for joy.

Looks you're having one badass vacation!

@ joe lookout - hopefully some good tapes surface where we can hear these acoustics of ancient Rome.

So nice to hear and see how happy Neil is.

@ So Tired - Excellent that you're having a big time! How many shows for you? What's next??? Send us a report, please.
