Bernie Sanders Takes Back Neil Young’s Song "Rockin’ In The Free World"

U.S. Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders today played -- with permission -- Neil Young’s song "Rockin’ In The Free World" at a campaign rally in Denver.

In a statement about the Denver rally, the Sanders campaign noted:
"This is an extraordinary turnout,” Sanders said as he surveyed the crowd after climbing onto the Hamilton Gymnasium stage at the University of Denver. Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” played (with the singer/songwriter manager’s approval) as Sanders was introduced to the standing-room-only crowd that spilled into an atrium and a nearby lacrosse field outside.
This news comes after last week's unauthorized use of Neil Young’s song "Rockin’ In The Free World" by Donald Trump during his U.S. presidential candidate announcement.

More on Neil Young’s song "Rockin’ In The Free World" What the song communicates.

  1. OK now for something more important! :)
What's happening with Neil's Archives Vol. 2. All the relevant sites state that it is in post production but it seems that it has been there since last year.
A few of the "companies" related to the Archives (Upstream, Toshi's site, etc) seem to be in a state of flux.
Has anyone got any info on the Archives.

  2. I just tried to listen to 'The Monsanto Years' streaming on NPR. Well I made it through 3 songs... then I thought Fork in the Road. Enough said. As for the Archives I'm hearing 2017 at the earliest.

  4. @ Stringman - Hey there, it's been awhile since wee last heard from you. Hoping all is well. Good question on Archives Vol. 2. Seems like Neil is is forever distracted.

OK by us if he continues to focus on the new & the REAL.
Haven't heard anything on those companies. And it looks like no BluRay for Monsanto Years. Maybe Bluray has faded to black? And no vinyl listing for MY yet either.

    @ timothy - 2017 just a guess?

  5. Evidently, Sanders is just as stupid as Trump. Neither gets the meaning....right? Could be ol Neil is just a shill. That rhymes more than any Monsanto lyrics.
