Here's a fun little video of Neil Young signing posters for PONO backers.
The newly named PONO CEO is seen busily autographing posters in assembly line fashion. The video is on Pono Music | Kickstarter:
We are shipping posters this week, as Neil was on tour and we were faced with delays. We appreciate your patience and continued support. For making you wait a little longer, we thought we could share a video you might get a kick out of.It's a real behind the scenes moment with Neil freestyling away in all of his ragged glory.
For those of you that doubted Neil would sign every single poster, here is proof that he did. Enjoy his wise words, too:
"When I first came up with the name Pono, people said, You can't do that! People are gonna think it's porno! I said, These people know the difference between music and pornography!"
Yes, we are sure you do.
Have a lovely weekend.

ps - be sure to look for the "Golden Poster/Ticket". ;)
Imagine if someone who doesn't see the process video gets the "Golden Ticket" and doesn't even know it? I'll be flipping mine!

ReplyDeleteI'm all in, & liking the odds.

You gotta be in it to win it!

ReplyDeleteYes, it does look like there'll be someone lucky out there. Hope someone notices they have the Golden Poster.
ReplyDeleteNot trippin' - according to "Shakey," "A wistful acoustic number to the tune of Dylan's 'My Back Pages,' 'Days That Used To Be' was briefly called 'Letter to Bob.' "
ReplyDeletehaving read Shakey I might have known that. might that is.

Here's an excerpt:
ReplyDeleteJapanese research firm Fuji Chimera Research Institute Inc. projects that high-resolution audio devices will account for about 20% of sales in the global audio market by 2020 in terms of value from less than around 5% now.
"People are becoming more quality conscious with high-definition television and this is the same parallel in the audio world," said David Chesky, the founder of HDtracks, a U.S. digital-music store that offers high-resolution audio files. The firm has more than doubled its revenue each year since its launch in 2008.
