ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up! Any price info yet?
ReplyDeleteanyone have the presale code for Philadelphia?
ReplyDeleteThe good seats for these solo shows are averaging about $350 a pop! If your quick and lucky, you might be able to score one for $100 up in the nosebleeds. I guess there goes the 2014 North American Crazy Horse leg?! There's much more money to be made at these solo events. Must be nice to be able to afford a pair of prime seats to this show. It's a good show, but I'd rather have a new 60" TV in my living room!! An unfortunate trend. The older Neil gets, the more elite you have to be to see him play. Oh to live on Sugar Mountain.....
ReplyDeleteActually front level tickets to this show were $250, I got front row center pit during the pre-sale which sold out in 15 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that.
ReplyDeletePresales aren't sold out, still going for both price levels ($255/$155), both nights.
ReplyDeleteIt drives me crazy the way Neil's dates are announced in slow drip drip fashion...seems like they've been doing this since 2010 or so...
ReplyDeleteIs Neil going to hit DC too before the Bridge shows? Ughhhhh...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not sold out. Just dialed up these two... But realized I can't make it down. I'm sure it will be amazing!

"Opened in 1857, the Academy is the oldest grand opera house in the United States still used for its original purpose" A beautiful venue for Neil Young to choose. I just googled some pictures and the arches and chandelier are amazing! I happened to be in Chicago in April so I was able to see him there, another old venue, and he appreciated it and the audience and even said his Chicago poem. But alas, as Old Neg said you have to be elite now. I'm thankful and lucky to have seen NY and NY&CH as many times as I did in the past. Maybe I'll win tickets on the radio this week, maybe you could send me some good luck thoughts. I'm sending mine too, to all you who can't afford the tickets and would love to be there.
ReplyDeleteOld Neg.....
ReplyDeleteAnd that's just your handle portends.....Old and Negative.
Neil Young was and is one of the people who built the dream you WISH for.
His money goes to charity!!!!!!!! So pay your share other than a fun filled night.
Oh, and he played hundreds of shows for free in Woodside, CA........for his fans.
Best of luck.
