ReplyDeleteJust home from Fred Armisen's show at Berklee...and reeling from the masterful guitar of J Mascis. Astounding version of Alone, with the most beautiful solo I've heard in ages. Other major love to cover of The Damned's song Life Goes On and Fred's song Massachusetts Afternoon.
ReplyDeleteHe opened as Ian Rubbish with The Bizarros. Very cool one note solo by Fred during In The Gutter. And Fred is so darn funny! But J, man, you were fucking over the rainbow....
