Pearl Jam on Neil Young's Muse - NPR



A lengthy interview with all the members of Pearl Jam on their new album Lightning Bolt on Pearl Jam In Conversation With Judd Apatow : NPR.

The entire interview is worthwhile, but one segment in particular must be checked out at ~37:30 when the interviewer starts discussing obtaining permission for use of a Neil Young song in a film.

Pearl Jam band members go on at length at their experience with Neil Young and his Muse.

    Royal Albert Hall, London. Tonight's CSN Concert. Rap between Crosby and Nash: People tell us that between the 4 of us we have about 900 songs. Yes but 448 were written by Neil. And that was just yesterday. Oh, I didn't know he wrote Yesterday.
