Neil Young & Crazy Horse last night at the Toronto, ONT concert on November 19, 2012 singing the encore "Helpless".
Another rare electric version.
This was the 2nd performance of the song during the tour.

Sunday night (Nov 25) will be the 36th anniversary of The Last Waltz, which might have Neil doin' some remembering. I watched this video and then the version with The Band; sure doesn't seem that long ago to me but I know it was! Maybe it's just being home for Neil and maybe it's a little of both, but whatever it's a killer version.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know what film I'll be watching come Sunday.
I was hoping to hear Roll Another Number, and when Neil first started singing Helpless I was disappointed... but not as it went on! Really a great twist to a classic.
ReplyDeleteHow I the general admission process working. I will be at the Boston show but can't get there until 4:00 at the latest. Am I screwed with no chance of getting up front? I guess I could slip outta work a little early...
