With Farm Aid 2012 a few days away, here's a look back at a highlight from Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America. Neil Young performs "Hitchhiker" in Milwaukee on October 2, 2010.
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

ReplyDeleteThanks. That's the 2nd time this happened with that FA series. It seems YT links together the clips & DBTR is first in the sequence. so the embed code needs mod'g to show the clip.
ReplyDeletebtw, if you must know, it was a trip on a psych pill.
I'm sure you've seen it by now, but the official Farm Aid youtube channel has uploaded a handful of videos of Neil Young & Crazy Horse from Farm Aid 1994.
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff.
Le Noise was one of his greatest. The man guns and fleshes out his songs ALONE! Amazing. Alan
ReplyDeleteBe careful with those psych pills, Thrasher. If they taste like lavender there's a big chance that it's not a pill you are swallowing but a piece of soap.
ReplyDeleteGreat interview in the NY times this AM and on the Front page, to boot! Can't wait to "Wage some Peace"

These videos of Neil from Farm Aid 25 are the best. When will they be released on blue ray?
