Albuquerque: Less Than 2 Weeks Away for Neil Young & Crazy Horse Concert Tour Opener

Well, they say that Santa Fe is less than 90 miles away.

And Albuquerque is less than 2 weeks away.

The Neil Young & Crazy Horse concert tour opener will be on August 3 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at The Pavilion.

So to get everyone in the mood, from Neil's 1999 solo tour an acoustic version of "Albuquerque". Bonus points for those who can name date and venue.

So stay tuned. We hope to be bringing TW readers an up close exclusive from Albuquerque.

Hey Thrasher, im gonna take a guess and say this live version of Albuquerque is from the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby,PA on 4/24/99. I have most of the 99 tour on cassette and alot on cdr,im at work now so unable to listen to the recordings at home. Great version, Keep On Rockin!

  6. I've made a mistake. It's Seattle 03/05/1999. On the same bootleg as the Oakland (and not chicago) concert 03/20/1999.

  7. The guy plays lead, rhythm, sings and blows that harp all at the same time like nobody else. Some say it's easy but I say it ain't.

That lead/rhythm interchange simulataneouly gets me every time. I don't know how the hell he does it. Like he's got 8 fingers on each hand.
