Rumblin': A Nuclear Power Protest

An interesting reaction to our little post last week on Neil Young's 1982 film Human Highway which portrayed the Earth's last day following a nuclear holocaust.

Now comes this "little" video from Germany above which uses a cover version of Neil Young's song 'Rumblin'" as a basis to protest nuclear energy.

We realize this probably isn't everyone's cup of tea, but try and bear with it for no other reason that this is not animation but actual live action miniaturizations of Neil, his guitars, amps, etc.

It's actually quite astonishing on several levels.

In Germany you can choose if you want to have green energy only, so please make a change! www. atomausstieg-selbermachen.de

Thanks Juliane!

  1. Thank you for adding my little video here! I don't know how Neil thinks about this topic, so I hope so much, it was o.k. using his song for this little video with my small Cover-Band. There is few you can do as a single person to try help to save this planet. The things in Japan really shocked me, this is why I did this video. They say it can't happen here, but I don't believe them, as they make a million $ a day with this technique with each of this nuclear power stations. They could have spend it into wind and solar technique instead!

i just can't imagine how much effort goes into making these videos?!
