oh please seattle july 18!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for coming back to Calgary, and for NOT playing the Saddledeome. I'll be watching various sites for pre-sales, cuz I want to have really good seats.
ReplyDeleteAnd anyone who is poo-pooing Neil's electric solo show, you need to donate your computer to someone who's ears aren't filled with hippie wax.
Just can't believe how lucky you are in the USA, and don't even want to think there are no european dates yet, this tour is in my opinion one of the very best, new songs are perfect, You never call is one of the saddest and one of the most beautiful Neil's songs I've ever heard.... Plus Neil seems ten years younger with this new look, well everything's perfect, except that we are not sure to see him in France or everywhere else in Europe.
ReplyDeleteReading some complaint about these shows just make me crazy (too expensive, too short, too electric, too many hits, etc), all of you detractors who just do not understand anything about Neil, please stay home next time...Or keep your comments for you.
I'm 33 years old and Neil's music makes me want to get up every morning for fifteen years, not everyone has that chance and I would be grateful forever to him.
Well, hope all of this is quite understandable, my english is not as good as I would like...
Thanks for reading
Marie from France
Thanks for you comment, Marie. I feel the same way about Neil and I'm also hoping to see him in Germany again this year. You never call is also my favorite new song, but I like the other new songs too, especially Love and War.
ReplyDeleteLove, Liza
Great news! No let's hope he visits Europe as well! More good news on Archives day: Check out the rustlist for Holes in the Archives Vol. 1!

Thanks Liza :)
ReplyDeleteIt's true, Love and war is wonderful too.
Marie
Figured he'd announce a 2nd leg of the tour up and through the west and northwest. Hope he comes to Los Angeles and plays the Orpheum Theater. Last time he played LA was in 2007 at the Nokia Theater and a planned date at The Forum was cancelled due to a labour dispute where Neil did not want to cross a picket line (Cheers Neil!) So, LA is definitely due for a shot on this tour.
ReplyDeleteMarie...You are so right. Trust me, I was lucky enough to have been at one of the shows on this tour and it is everything I was looking for( well except maybe 10 more songs :). Love and War is fantastic and Hitchhiker is worth it alone. Hope Neil comes your way soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom
ReplyDeleteIt's always a pleasure to share with people who think the same way as you. A big thank you to you too trasher to make this possible.
Marie

ReplyDeletePresales are fixed now, at least the Portland one (gave me fifth row center).
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the Oakland Presale is already over or has it not started yet?
ReplyDeleteRust List post says Oakland presale will be next Tuesday (June 8) - go to the tour page at neilyoung.com that morning and click on the "presale" link and that should work.
