Shooting a living legend like Neil Young was a wonderful way to close the 2008 concert season.

I had heard from other photographers that credentials for this tour were tight. The rumors were true. With a full video crew and swarm of photographers that ranged from local dailies and magazines to the Associated Press, the pit was packed.

    The funny thing is about these pics (to me anyway) especially the picture of the audience: if you look closely at the very bottom you'll see the top of my wife's head and the the very left my shoulder..lol. the photographer was right in front of us on the other side of the rail...of course they all came running over right in front of us which was annoying at the time but I'm glad to see these great pics.I remember the guy who took them...for the picture of the crowd he just held his camera up over all of our heads and snapped it. All these pictures of Neil are from when he was playing "love and only love" and "Hey Hey My My". The asian girl you see there in the pic was utterly obnoxious! there was plenty of room to stand but she had to squeeze her body right up against my wife and a woman (a nice Rustie) next to us. When the woman complained she said "oh its tight in here" when there was plenty of room behind her! that was only only complaint that and a girl who asked me to throw a santa hit on stage...which I tried to do but when I didn't make it she called me a mean person! the nerve of some people! lol any way great show and great pics!
