Out on The Interstate?!
Is Neil out on the interstate with LincVolt? According to the webcam in the Linc Volt Garage, it's been empty since last night?
So this lovely little video got us to thinking about "Interstate".
Thanks 1after909!

Interstate is such a great song. When I first discovered it I thought more people should have access to it, because its not available on any of his current available CDs. It's such a shame that Neil doesn't put out more great songs like Interstate to be seen by the wider public.
ReplyDeleteA great song indeed. Especially the live '85 versions. Typical Neil to release an inferior version though. Not sure why he was ever contemplating that acoustic version for Ragged Glory, it was never going to fit. The '85 better be on the Archives...
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I could listen to this song forever.
ReplyDeleteYes, this song is incredible - moving, flowing, desolate - it would have fit in nicely with On the Beach... When I first found this on You Tube over a year ago I was mesmermized - and still am...
