I was just sent this unconfirmed setlist. Seems early for the show to be over.

While in Hamburg, Neil's shurely going to visit the miniatur wonderland:
ReplyDeleteThe largest model railway in the world and one of the most successful permanent exhibitions in Northern Germany.

Nearly two great hours of Neil. A brilliant 30 min. start with Love and only Love, Cowgirl, Hey hey my my, Powderfinger. And a powerful ending with See change, Words, No hidden path, A day in the life.
ReplyDeleteHighlights in the middle only Mother Earth and Heart of gold. The rest was just ok.
Fantastic show! First thirty minutes and the finish sounded like ... well ... jetfighters copulating or something. Cathedrals of sound. He squeezed out everything from Old Black. Directly from the heart for the heart. Left me with my mouth wide open and - I must admit - teras in my eyes. Pure beauty. Better than Crazy Horse last time in HH.
ReplyDeleteI liked the new songs with Pegi's background vocals and the whole "plot" of the show.
Great to see how vital the guy still is. Hope he'll go on like this another several years so I can take my daughter (20 months) to see him live.
Thanks Neil. Walk on!
