Neil Young - Roskilde Festival, 7/5/08
An excellent photo gallery from the Roskilde Festival.
Here's Martin's story behind the picture.
The Roskilde Festival pit was very crowded. Neil Young - without doubt - the concert that dragged most photographers there. I believe somewhat 50 shooters totally, it was packed, hence the quite limited selections of different angles.
Unfortunately - as you can see on the other Roskilde Festival shots I prefer moving around, switching lenses, etc. So quite sad that I wasn't able to, during Neil Young's concert. Equipment wise I use a Canon 1D Mark3, Canon 5D. The concert was shot with a 24-70 2.8L and 70-200 2.8L. In general, Roskilde Festival (which is the biggest in Northern Europe) was fantastic this year - sun shine untill Sunday evening where it started pouring down right before Jay-Z's concert. What else to say - stressfull as I covered somewhat 40 concerts and had to do other stuff as well ;-)
Thanks Martin!
