More recently, Neil Young posted on NYA that he has been writing again and what he hears in his head is: "These songs are enviro-marches".
Now comes word that Neil is heading into the studio, per Neil Young Archives: (thanks Phil & John K.!)
These days I am preparing for the studio....less than a week to go!

ReplyDeleteThe full moon brings out the Art. Neil will rise like the tide, and lay it down right. Neil will deliver the goods. His last song on the topic was astoundingly strong, like molten fury. Human Race is an incredible song!

@ Medward : Planetary destruction is a fertile topic and a perfect one for Neil Young to focus on. Who gives a shit? Neil Young, and myself, to name a few. Considering how very far along we are in the current Extinction Event, it does seem like quite a worthy topic. Neil’s passion meets a threat to life on Earth (for the humans); what other cause or issue is more worthy of discussion. We are a planet of Lemmings, and we are headed for the Carbon cliff.
