It is actually on the timeline (on my NYA phone app at least).
DeleteRabbi, you're right there - just checked the phone (Apple app version) and there's an album cover marker sitting between Life and This Note's for You.
ReplyDeleteBut on the PC this marker is missing, however the session tracks are listed on the timeline under Jul 87.
Imagine this is a publishing glitch, but I also notice Lucky 13 is on the phone app timeline, but not the PC one, so maybe time to do a album by album comparison.

PS. I must have listened to Barn over thirty times till now. As with everything Neil Young, you have to let it grow on you. I find it excellent and I have come to love the same each and every of the songs. And taking the chance, I revisited Colorado, which I still find it very good. It feels to me as chapter one ("Rough winter in the mountains") to what Barn is chapter two ("Somewhat mellower summer thoughts in lower altitude!").
And I think many parallels can be drawn, on thematic or music terms.

ReplyDeletePS Lucky Thirteen is there on my PC timeline. I recently did a thing where I played the whole timeline from start to finish during Sept-Oct and Lucky Thirteen was definitely there then too.
