  2. That’s 35 individual albums........ jeepers!!!!!!! I’m totally prepared for disappointment, but what a forecast for the future. I just can’t imagine all that material in the next two years. Time will tell, but it’s a nice dream for now. Now I’m just going to have to figure out how I’m going to pay for all this stuff.

    Peace 🙏

  4. Good question about the sound quality, Roberto !

On the Timeline today, the covers of the bootlegs appeared ! Including the numbers (which are logically NOT chronological:-):

    OBS01: Carnegie Hall
    OBS04: Royce Hall
    OBS03: Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
    OBS06: Somewhere Under The Rainbow
    OBS05: Citizen Kane Jr. Blues
    OBS02: High Flyin' (The Ducks)

    No tracklists so far.

  6. I saw on Discogs someone are already selling Eldorado... obviously before the release date, still hope it means it's coming earlier than 22!

    1. Ya, it has been possible to buy a Japanese version of Eldorado on Amazon for awhile. I was moaning about its lack of availability on NYA and a TW regular sent me a physical copy! TW has a bunch of amazing people / NY fans! Alan in Seattle

  7. Fabian - I picked up Eldorado many years ago as an import CD...don't remember where...it is really great for an EP...Don't Cry is fantastic & On Broadway is simply bizarre...in a good way! can't wait to hear it in hi res!

  8. Sorry if it's been already conversed about...but TOAST anyone? Later? Thanks

  9. @ Roberto : Neil has said he has tapes of both Carnegie Hall shows but he prefers the early show over the late show that was actually Bootleged. It should sound awesome.

    Peace 🙏

  11. I have seen Neil so many times I hope to see more. 1989 Jones Beach, N.Y. was one of my favorites. Neil will always be my favorite no matter who is with him.

  12. If half of this stuff comes out in the next 5 years, I'll be more than happy. We've been given so much already.

  13. Never Going Back to Greendale.

  14. Bought Eldorado as an import of Japan some 20+ years ago, I think. I like it a lot.

Maybe off topic. As I bought NY archives II Deluxe, I could use the code for renewing my Classic level and it worked. Yet I had to cancel my current subscription first!
However I've got a problem: I cannot upgrade to the Rust Level except if paying full fee. This is as if the discount code is useless.
The NYA team is aware of this problem, but no solution yet :-(

I am not buying the Greedy Hand Store anymore. Though I miss the Hi-Res download, I bought the two box sets RTG and Young Shakespeare in a shop in Europe. That was even cheaper. I enjoy them but it is a unfortunate that the video comes only with box set.

Hopefully they are available on NYA site.

Impatient to get the new releases at Neil's pace. No hurry, as we have already so much to hear.

  15. Guys- as a follow-up: I just found a copy of Eldorado on an old hard drive. So sick! Can't wait for the remaster!

  16. More release dates have been added for the latest DVDs... and the Archives II book comes out in a week! I’m most pumped about that one because I have the retail edition that didn’t come with the big book.

  18. Is there anywhere with a list of the songs Neil has put on the archives that were not released on CD? I'd like to put together a playlist to make sure I listen to them all.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @ Jake - that's a really good question.

there are many sources to compile such a playlist. Here's a start:

The Unofficial Archive - Neil Young's Unreleased Songs by Robert Broadfoot
    Version 7 (Abridged): 12 November 2019

    To download PDF file, see

let us know if that works. and share any other helpful references.
