COMING SOON: Neil Young To Annouce 4 East Coast Shows
As we indicated recently, Neil Young is preparing a major concert announcement.

Presumably, warm ups for Farm Aid 2018 concert.

Not sure if these will be warmups, as Farm Aid is Sept. 18.

However, the Capitol Theater in Port Chester has several 4 night open runs in October.
Plus, Neil and Crazy Horse had to cancel their gig there when
Poncho broke his hand back in 2013. So, we know he likes the place!

ReplyDeleteWe have a full moon on October 24 - Capitol Theater is free on Oct 21, 22, 23, & 24.
A full moon in October is called a Hunters Moon -
A name given by Native Amercans for a time to hunt & store food for the approaching winter.
I think we're on to something here!
We have a new moon on October 8...The Cap is also free on Oct. 7,8,9 & 10.

Stupid question: (Not from a Stupid Girl). Has the NYA subscription service started yet? How does one enroll? Is it portable? Can one get it on a mobile device to listen while walking, bike riding, or driving? (Gotta use some fossil fuels for now.)
ReplyDeleteI don;t know if this was ever addressed on TW, but here goes. I love it when NY plays unreleased songs at live shows. It makes shows special because I feel like I'm hearing something few others have heard. When Neil played Telluride he premiered four or five songs from Peace Trail. I saw 2 RNS shows that featured 9 unreleased songs from Comes A Time and RNS.
Neil, if you see this, here is a vote for playing new, unreleased songs!

ReplyDeleteHe is listed to play at the Outlaw Music Festival on 9/23 in Saratoga Spring, NY, with POTR. Don't see him listed at any others.
