ReplyDeletemy body, ears and soul are recovering from riding the Crazy Horse in Nimes last night. what a sound, what a gig, they were having a ball getting really intense with the music, jokin and laughin a lot as they hammered out that great mountain of sound. Neil's voice climbed above it all like a ragged angel. this was my first crazy horse gig so I've no comparison but it was the best gig I've ever seen.
ReplyDeletehigh points: comes a time, walks like a giant (wow): Neil laughing and ribbing billy about hitting wrong notes: the chemistry: the whole thing man, they took me all the way. Patti smith was brilliant too.
Incredible good as always. With age Neil is getting better and better!!! Saw him in '85 (Holland) , 2009 ( Barcelona) and now in Nimes!! Only hope to see him again soon!!
