Neil Young inducts Jimi Hendrix Experience into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during 1992 ceremony.

Have you ever been experienced?

Well, if so, than you would know that Neil's album title "Are You Passionate?" is a tribute to Jimi.

  1. Nice jacket.
Never saw him gesture so much. Maybe he was a little nervous.
He did a great job and as usual - so hot!

  2. Neil Young inducted Jimi Hendrix into the RRHOF? Why wasn't Mitch, Steve, Eric, Curtis, or BB asked to do the intro here?

  3. The question in my mind that loomed the largest was WHY WAS BILLY COX NOT EVEN MENTIONED???

Billy Cox was a far better bass player than Noel Redding with that solid fatback funky groove, he had been Jimi's Army buddy since 1961 and remained his steadfast friend until Jimi's untimely end.

God bless the lot of them, but Billy Cox deserves a mention here, and Neil was just slippin' by ignoring him entirely.

    PEACE & LOVE

  5. @Eric - yeah, too bad on the incomplete recognition. Neil just tends to wing these things without notes it seems.

@SONY - thanks for clip! embedded.
