Neil Young

Arcade Fire & Neil Young - Helpless - Bridge School Benefit - 10/22/11
There is something deeper than the song itself here...its a passing of the torch of a great song from one generation to the next..Neils music is timeless and the arcade fire does a fantastic job of caring this every so important music into a much different generation than Neils.

Don't normally listen to these guys, but it's brought a tear to my eye. Great to see Neil enjoying himself, same with the Pocahontas clip above.

Bravo to all involved in this special event.

  4. Forget arcade fire. Neil and Mumford and Sons rocked. A focused passion for music -- get on or get out of the way.

  8. This is always a great event and a real indicator of the kind of guy Neil is.

Pretty conservative set list from Neil. Still looking for a sign on where he might be headed next. No real clues here, except maybe from the youth of this year's lineup vs. the heavy emphasis on grizzled vets last year.

  11. Great to see this on YouTube. Never did watch a seven hour video on YouTube before. Liked Beck doing Sea Change a lot and what a nice surprise for him.
