  3. While I was completely stoked about seeing the Buffalo perform again, when they came out and did Broken Arrow as the first song of the encore, I was completely blown away (like a Hurricane :-).

I can't put into words as to how significant this was all around. I do believe that this was the first time that Neil ever perform the song live, and I believe that one of the main reasons Neil wanted the reunion to happen was to perform some of these songs live in front of a live audience. That these Buffalo Springfield songs needed to be heard again in a live setting. This is their unfinished business. As usual, it's about the music.

  4. Something about this performance... it's really pretty. I can't stop listening to it. I don't think I've ever heard this song live before, and generally I can't deal with concert bootleg quality sound... but I can't stop listening to this one! Thanks Thrash!

  5. Here in 2011, Neil is the old man taking a look at his life and he sees music that was forgotten the first time around, and needs to be spotlighted again. Within the box set that Neil put together of the Buffalo Springfield tapes, it was obvious that a lot more could've been put on the records, but back then you had space limitations with vinyl.

With the explosion of music back in the 60s & 70s, there was a lot of good music that got lost in the shuffle and fell by the wayside because there was just too much of it and not enough time. At least some people like Neil can do something about that these days. He feels that it's time to revisit the past because there's a lot of good stuff there.
