  1. Hey Thrasher - don't confuse reality with negativity. The Nobel Peace Prize is a 100% joke. Recent recipients : Al Gore = fraud/huckster profitting from the scam known as global warming : Obama = fraud/huckster who had done nothing and still hasn't to advance the cause of global peace. Who ever heard of a Peace Prize being given to a man who ordered 30,000+ troops into a war zone known as Afghanistan? Oh wait, they gave Obama his award BEFORE he sent troops off to war. Sorry - my eyes are wide open and a Nobel Peace Prize would diminish the great work done by Willie and Farm Aid based on the pathetically low standards (none) of the Nobel organization.

    Sometimes reality is negative.

  2. Oh Jonathan, if anybody DESERVES a peace prize, regardless of its perceived genuineness, it's Willie Nelson.

I know it was a joke to give it to Obama (who used the word "war" 44 times in his acceptance speech, and made it abundantly clear during his presidential run that he supported the war effort in Afghanistan), but that doesn't make it somehow meaningless to give it to Willie Nelson.

P.S. Your opinion on global warming is not a proven fact. Al Gore may be a self-promoting profiteer, but that does not disprove global warming.

Either way, those two points are moot, considering the relevance of giving the prize to somebody as TRULY DESERVING OF IT as Willie Nelson, which is the real point here.

btw, I just returned from Playa Del Fuego, this awesome burner event in Delaware, and MAN WAS IT UNSEASONABLY HOT all weekend. I packed for cool, unfortunately.
