  3. Great vibe, got some 'fistfull of dollars' trumpet sound which rocks it in this free world.

We're all soaked in blame, first, second and third hand. The statistics bear it out. Get ready for things we have not yet seen folks. Mankind drowning in his own shame. Kinda hard to put it back together once it's broke.

Casinos don't know diddly-squat about extinction.

95% of all life forms went extinct after oxygen was introduced into the atmosphere.

The tragedy of the Gulf spill is not the life forms that will be lost forever, the tragedy is that it is preventable.

  7. Jimmy..pardon my ignorance?....but what is a 'synapse'?
couldn't find it in any dictionary

    just my opinion

  8. Hey JMO
Synapses are essential to neuronal function: neurons are cells that are specialized to pass signals to individual target cells, and synapses are the means by which they do so. At a synapse, the plasma membrane of the signal-passing neuron (the presynaptic neuron) comes into close apposition with the membrane of the target (postsynaptic) cell.

I used the term allegorically (look it up) to express the passage of a thought, or series of thoughts into the blogosphere at a pazrticular moment, as well as respond to Anonymous's posting of 7:51 PM.

    IMO & Rock On...

  9. Nice def, Jim.

When I was a kid and my old man
got drunk,my mom who was a nurse used to say,
"Oh, his synapses aren't working today son."

Not that JMO's poetry is inebriated. It just reminded me of my old man a little.
